CoreTrace Multi-Mode Wall Detector

Check what may be behind a wall before drilling, mounting or cutting. This handheld detector offers separate modes for stud edges and centres, deeper timber scanning, metal and live AC wiring. The LCD display, centre indication and audio alerts help you interpret the scan and mark the intended position.

Five scan modes for common wall checks

• Stud modes: Choose shallow edge, centre or deeper stud scanning.
• Metal mode: Scan for metal objects at the stated depth range.
• AC warning mode: Check for live wiring signals before drilling.
• LCD guidance: View mode, depth and centre indicators on screen.
• Optional marker set: Order the detector alone or with red, blue and black deep-hole markers.

Scan methodically and verify

Calibrate and move the detector slowly as directed, repeating the scan from both directions. Detection depends on wall material, moisture, depth and object orientation. Never rely on one reading where drilling could contact electrical, gas or water services; isolate services and seek professional help when uncertain.
